MyAging is a free, dignity-first check-in service for older adults. We send quick, friendly SMS messages once a day to confirm well-being, detect changes, and reassure families. No apps, no cameras, no wearables.

How does it work?

Each day, your loved one receives a short SMS like “Hi Sarah, how are you feeling today?” If their response is delayed, unusually short, or shows signs of concern, you get a notification.

Is this like Life Alert or a panic button?

No. MyAging is passive and proactive — not reactive. It’s meant to check in before an emergency, not during one. There’s nothing to wear or press.

What if my loved one doesn’t like tech, or want camera's in their house?

That’s exactly who it’s for. MyAging works by SMS — no app, login, or device required. If they can receive a text, they can use this service.

Is it really free?

Yes. MyAging is free for families. Our mission is to make safety and connection accessible to everyone.

How do we enroll someone?

Familes, Facilities, or Providers can submit a simple online form with the senior’s name, phone number, and a family contact. The service is live in minutes.

Is MyAging HIPAA compliant?

MyAging doesn’t collect or transmit protected health information beyond a name and phone number for outreach. For agencies under HIPAA, we can execute a simple Business Associate Agreement if needed.

How is this different from other monitoring tools?

No cameras. No microphones. No wearables. MyAging uses conversation-style check-ins to detect early signs of concern without invading privacy.

What if my loved one doesn’t reply?

If there’s no reply within a normal window, we’ll gently nudge them once. If there’s still no response, we notify you directly via text or email.

How do I get started?

Just fill out a short form with your info and your loved one’s name, phone number, and preferred check-in time. We handle the rest.

Can I customize the check-in times?

In this early version, you can set preferred check-in times. More customization will be available in future versions.

Who is it for?

Adult children or caregivers who want peace of mind while honoring an older loved one’s privacy — and providers who want to extend light-touch oversight without adding staff burden.

How do alerts work?

If a senior doesn’t respond or shows signs of “behavioral drift,” MyAging notifies the designated family member or provider contact to check in.

How do you protect data?

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on U.S.-based servers. We never sell or share identifiable information without consent.

Are there cameras or microphones involved?

Never. MyAging is 100% text-based — no video or audio monitoring.
